A trip to London fashion week resulted in myself and Scarlett finding a lovely restaurant near to Vauxhall Station (Vauxhall Arches). A place you wouldn’t have thought would have existed in a normal street, as it was very unassuming, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very polite lady and taken to our seats.
The seating arrangement was spacious and modern, the seats themselves were very comfortable and the manner the restaurant was set out separated the more jazzy side of the room with drinks and cocktails galore and a fancy bar with the more sensible and sophisticated side of the restaurant catering for customers who simply visit for a chat and a fantastic meal.
However I could not have expected what happened next….
I have eaten a lot of food in my life, but nothing as incredible as this. It was completely different, with new tastes and textures I have never experienced before. If I’m completely honest the quality, taste and portion size took me by surprise – as I have alluded to, I definitely enjoy eating out – so as justice to my next comment, it must have been excellent (and not just because I was absolutely starving from the long day at LFW).
Honestly the food was the best I have ever tasted in my life.
I mean it was prepared better than I could have imagined too! A clean, lean and succulent meal accompanied by a rather spicy cocktail. It was truly a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a 10 out of 10 experience.
