Lucky is not the word when it comes to being able to travel to one of the most beautiful and exotic places in the world. I don’t think I can fully describe how amazing it truly was so I think that the phrase of ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ comes to mind. So what better way to show you my 10 favourite shots from my travels this year.
Coming in at No. 1
This was the view from the Nai Harn hotel in Phuket – part of the apartment we were so lucky to stay in overlooking the sea.
With fruit everywhere to see, whether it be in the restaurants or the trees coconuts were an avid favourite of mine and part of my not so stable diet out there.
Overlooking the beautiful beach in Koh Samui whilst having a candle lit dinner for Scarlett and I was possibly one the most memorable pictures I took – what a wonderful evening it was.
We both share a love for all things Thai, especially the food, chicken satay and peanut sauce never goes a miss when it comes to eating.
Although we did a lot of sight seeing, we also did a lot of our own exploration and what better was to do it than on foot with all your essentials.
While visiting all the different hotels we were very well looked after, all of the concierge welcomed us with open arms, this particular picture sticks in my mind due to the effort that they had gone to in order to make it perfect for the both of us.
A secret location that was hidden away in a place in which we didn’t plan on going to, a romantic walk along the beach followed by some cocktails. What a wonderful evening this was – with a chilled out vibe in which we could relax.
The plethora of choice and varied food is clear to see, everything tastes fresher and looks better. Bright and natural – you can’t ask for more.
Strawberry daiquiris and banana coladas we always being consumed whether on the tropical beaches or next to the clear blue pools.
And finally No. 10
Definitely a favourite – seeing the one whom I love so happy and looking so beautiful in such a magical place.
